I have been in real estate for nearly 30 years and I am a founding Director of Position Property which launched in 1999.

As our business grew, we saw a need to offer a more complete service to property purchasers and the need to provide guidance to property investors. My personal life is busy as well, having recently become a father again, with nearly 20 years between my new son James and my other children Josh and Brittney! This has certainly given me a new lease on life and is keeping me young.

In my spare time, I like to keep fit at the gym at least twice a week and when time permits I love to play golf and travel.

I started my career at a Brisbane based E-commerce company after completing my postgraduate study in Information Technology in 2002. I was appointed to a senior leadership role responsible for international business operations in 2004.

Over the years, my interest in property investment and financial management has grown into a passion and in 2008 I successfully obtained my mortgage broker accreditation from the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia.

My qualification in Computer Science and Information Technology, years of management and business operational experience have developed my analytical and effective communicating skills. In the mortgage lending industry, my understanding of legislation requirements and desire to understand customers’ short-term and long-term goals have enabled me to help many people secure their own homes and/or investment properties.

In early 2016, I joined Astute Financial Management Services Team and was appointed Home Lending Manager.

Born in Beijing, China, I speak Mandarin (Chinese) and have a well-known reputation in the Chinese community. I continue to maintain my ties with the broader international community both here in Brisbane and abroad.

Graduating from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting in 2014, I worked as an assistant accountant and administrator for a short time before developing an interest in lending.

After completing a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, I joined the team at Astute Position in early 2017.

I now specialise in residential lending, offering Astute Position’s clients a highly professional and attentive level of service.

I have a Bachelor of Finance, Master of Accounting, MBA, Diploma of Mortgage Brokering and a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking.

I started my career in the accounting field after completing my degree in 2012. After 2 years in an accounting role, I began my mortgage brokering career in 2014. Before joining Astute Position in late 2018, I worked for various mortgage companies and obtained extensive experience in mortgage brokering in the real estate field.

I strongly believe that I can provide my customers with outstanding service with my strong academic background and extensive experience in the finance and real estate industries. I specialize in all types of residential lending.

I migrated to Australia from Taiwan over 13 years ago, and I speak Mandarin Chinese and English.

I have worked in the finance industry for about 25 years this include banks like Suncorp and ANZ. I have my certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage broking and Diploma in banking and Finance. I specialise in all Residential home loans.
I have lived in Fiji, New Zealand, and Australia.

I am interested in nearly all the sports but two standouts Rugby & Soccer, which keeps me busy in the weekends.
