Born and raised in the Hunter Valley, Todd has an extensive knowledge of the Hunter Region including his local community and is extremely passionate about the region and everything it has to offer to its residents and visitors. He understands the importance of the needs of people, especially those in regional and rural areas and supporting his community.

Todd entered the finance industry after 18 years in business ownership and corporate management experience with several international organisations in the car and truck rental industry, along with two years in a local accounting firm. These opportunities enabled him to develop diverse business management expertise and knowledge allowing Todd to provide exceptional customer experiences to his clients.

It was during his time in car and truck rental after buying, financing and selling over 1,500 vehicles where he developed an interest in lending. With his love for working with people and numbers it now sees Todd joining as Astute Maitland in the financial services industry as of 2020.

Todd’s area of expertise is in vehicle and equipment finance where he can use his extensive knowledge from simple motor vehicle purchases to fleet finance arrangements. His vision as a result is to create a stress-free customer experience with a focus on achieving the desired finance lending results for his clients.

Todd holds a Certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking as well as his Diploma of Finance & Mortgage Broking Management. With education and knowledge being an important aspect in the ever-changing finance industry. He is currently completing his Certificate IV in New Small Business whilst also studying for both his Certificate IV & Diploma of Financial Services.

Todd is a member of the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA), Commercial & Asset Finance Brokers Association of Australia (CAFBA), Hire & Rental Industry Association of Australia (HRIA) and is a Justice of the Peace (NSW)

As a member of the MFAA this means Todd adheres to a Code of Practice which requires professionalism, ethical behaviour, and a commitment to act in his client’s best interest.

Todd is a keen supporter of local cricket, basketball and rugby sporting teams in Maitland. A long-term committee member of the Maitland Rugby Club and die-hard follower of the Newcastle Knights, though it is regularly highlighted by many friends that his real passion is for girls and women’s rugby. Todd and his wife Elizabeth who reside in Maitland with their 3 rugby daughters (Zoe, Jorja & Stephanie) are constantly travelling great distances each year as a result of their girl’s representative achievements locally, interstate & internationally. Todd and Elizabeth are also proud supporters of girls and women’s rugby in Newcastle and the Hunter Region.
