Victorian Bushfire Appeal --
Pledge Announcement
We would like to thank eryone who participated in the Astute Victorian Bushfire Appeal. Through the pledges of our finance broker members we were able to raise $19,050 for those affected by the devastating bushfires that swept through Victoria in February this year.
Half of these funds have been donated to the Gippsland Emergency Relief Fund, and the other half to The Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal.
The Gippsland Emergency Relief Fund was set up specifically to help people in Gippsland who are affected by emergencies and natural disasters. All donations are returned to the community and no costs are deducted.
The Salvation Army helps more than one million disadvantaged Australians each year without discrimination, including people who are hungry, homeless, abandoned or abused.
We are very grateful to those who participated in this appeal, for their wonderful compassion and generosity. | |
