Originally from Wagga Wagga, my family relocated to the Atherton Tablelands where I spent my early years. In high school I moved to Cairns and Cairns has been my home ever since. I appreciate the coastal lifestyle Cairns has to offer and plan to continue growing and building a life for myself here.
In 2022, I began my journey at Astute Finance North QLD as a Client Manager. This role gave me invaluable insights into the financial needs of individuals and families in our region. Witnessing firsthand the benefits and importance of utilising a mortgage broker, I discovered a passion for guiding people through one of their most significant milestones they will achieve in their lifetime which is homeownership.
Motivated by this passion, I decided to invest in further training and become a fully accredited Mortgage Broker. My goal is to help my clients navigate the complexities of mortgage options and find solutions that best fit their lending needs and aspirations.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring Cairns’ natural beauty, whether it’s taking a day trip out to the reef or hiking through one of our many hiking trails. Engaging with the community is also a priority for me, as I believe in giving back and contributing to the place I proudly call home.
Gus was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond his job requirements. My partner and I were blown away with the high level of customer service and extra assistance he gave us throughout the process making the purchase of our first home a lot less stressful. Gus was prompt, professional yet down to earth and always contactable. Dan and I have already recommended his services to friends and can’t speak highly enough of Gus.

And what I didn’t understand she was happy to take the extra time to explain them again. I was very impressed with the quality of service and support. We have been using John since we bought our first house in 2008 and taken sound advice from him in all our finance dealing ever since; which has included, opening a business, building our second house and now purchasing an investment property.
